São Paulo Companhia de Dança will deliver a masterclass about the different languages used in choreographies specially created by Brazilian and other international artists for the company. A piece based on phrases of movement and improvisations as an approximation to the artistic diversity that characterizes the company.

Teacher Irupé Sarmiento
Born in Salta (Argentina), in 1984, Irupé Sarmiento has been training since age ten. In 1999, she joined the American Ballet Theatre, in New York, before continuing her training at the Contemporary Dance Workshop of the Teatro San Martín, in Buenos Aires, where she was part of  the corps de ballet until 2004. She is soloist at São Paulo Companhia de Dança since 2008.
