Teachers Route
Holland Dance is joining forces with the Nederlandse Beroepsvereniging van Danskunstenaars (NBDK) in organising in-depth workshops for dance teachers twice a year. The workshop ingredients include: didactics, debates, personal skills, health and research. The first workshops were held in August 2011 in the form of a threeday event (D3D), in which professionals from the Netherlands and abroad came together to draw inspiration for the start of the new season. The second series of lectures and masterclasses, once again specially compiled for teachers, will take place during the Holland Dance Festival. Companies and dance artists taking part in the festival will be sharing their experiences with inquisitive teachers on the 'Teachers' Route'.

The activities are valid for the NBDK's accreditation system. The accreditation allows dance professionals to demonstrate that they are maintaining their professional standards.
