Artistically, the driving force behind the group is the French choreographer Thierry Malandain, who created the duet Entre deux for Introdans early in 2011. After this successful Dutch début, the full company is now coming to The Netherlands, in its only appearance in The Hague, with Malandain's much lauded Magifique (2009). It is an extraordinary, contemporary interpretation of the musical high points from Sleeping Beauty, the Nutcracker and Swan Lake, inspired by the symphonic suites that Tchaikovsky composed as the basis for his famous ballets.
